Internship – Communication, Business Develoment, Finance Division, Rome, Italy (81201)

Skills & Competencies
  • Skilled in using material publication software, website management and developing material such as brochures, posters, presentations for internal and external use.
  • Written and analytic skills; able to gather, review and synthesize information from a variety of sources, and create clear and concise reports based on information gathered
  • Strong interpersonal skills and work ethics, able to proactively and independently pursue tasks and ensure timely delivery.
Essential Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled inclusive of having completed at least two years of undergraduate studies or have recently graduated in the last six months in one of the following disciplines: communications, graphic design, development, international affairs.
  • University course attendance in the past 12 months;
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Outlook;
  • Fully fluent in English;
  • Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail;
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
  • Interns receive a monthly stipend from WFP up to the maximum amount of US$1000 per month depending on the duty station of assignment. The current amount for Rome is around $860

Internship – Donor Relations, Washington Liaison Office (81865)

Essential Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled (with at least two years undergraduate experience), or recently graduated in the past six months with a MA or BA in disciplines related to International Development, International Affairs, Public Health, Agriculture, and others;
  • Attended university courses in the past 12 months;
  • Enthusiastic, professional, and self-starter nature;
  • Fluency in both oral and written English;
  • Excellent organizational and superior writing skills;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel and others. Ability to learn new programs quickly.

  • Fluency in both oral and written communication in English;

Monitoring & Evaluation Intern (80361) 

STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Currently enrolled and have attended University courses in the last 12 months inclusive of having completed at least two years of undergraduate studies or have recently graduated in the last 6 months; in Agricultural Economics, Agriculture or related field;
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point);
  • Fluency in Kinyarwanda and English;
  • Ability to speak French will be an added value
JOB PURPOSE
The selected candidate will be assisting the WFP’s Small Holder Farmers Unit in the following duties:
  • Assist in reviewing and updating M&E tools (including all data collection and reporting templates) for the Small Holder Farmers (SHF) Unit.
  • Assist in suggesting additional key performance indicators (KPIs) in line with global N&E quality guidelines;
  • Assist in day-to-day and periodic M&E requirements of the unit, including internal and external reporting requirements;
  • Support in the workshop to review Theory of Change (ToC)
  • Assist in progress review and reflection platforms with SHF actors
  • Assist in development of capacity building strategy for implementing partners; and
  • Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
